According to the weather report, moisture content continues to be limited across much of the national territory, which will favor skies with scattered clouds and minimal precipitation throughout this Saturday.

However, widely isolated showers are expected during the morning in localities of La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, and El Seibo.

In the afternoon hours, some downpours accompanied by isolated thunderstorms could occur over provinces such as San Juan, Santiago Rodríguez, Elías Piña, and Dajabón.

Meteorological authorities warned that temperatures will remain quite hot due to the time of year and the presence of Saharan dust. Given this situation, they recommended that the population stay hydrated, wear light-colored, lightweight clothing, and avoid prolonged sun exposure between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

In Greater Santo Domingo, including the National District, Santo Domingo North, East, and West, scattered clouds will prevail throughout the day. Minimum temperatures will range between 23 °C and 25 °C, while maximums will reach between 31 °C and 33 °C.

For this Sunday, atmospheric conditions will begin to change with the approach of a tropical wave that will bring greater humidity and instability. This phenomenon will cause cloudiness to increase after midday, accompanied by scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms, and possible wind gusts.

The rains will mainly affect the provinces of La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, San José de Ocoa, Monte Plata, Barahona, and Greater Santo Domingo.
