Caracas.- A group of 146 Venezuelan migrants returned to their country this Wednesday on a repatriation flight from Miami, United States, reported the government program Vuelta a la Patria.

In an Instagram post, the program indicated that of the total number of returned migrants, 120 are men, 19 women, and 7 children, “all ready to begin a new stage in their beloved homeland.”

Furthermore, he said that the citizens were received at the Maiquetía International Airport, which serves Caracas, with all the “necessary protocols to ensure a happy reunion” in Venezuela.

On Monday, 121 migrants returned to the South American country on a repatriation flight from Miami, according to the Ministry of Interior and Justice.

Since January of last year, when Caracas and Washington signed an agreement, a total of 164 planes, the vast majority from the U.S., have landed in Venezuela with repatriated migrants.

The return of migrants to Venezuela continued even amidst the tensions over the U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean Sea, which led to an operation in which Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were captured earlier this year.

The Ministry of Interior indicated at the end of May that, since February 2025, more than 28,000 Venezuelans have returned to the country through the Great Mission Return to the Homeland.
