Los Angeles.- A group of 16 children, all from the same family, were rescued from a home in a rural area of Ohio, where they were living in “deplorable conditions” after being confined to a single room for nearly four years, according to authorities.
n” “nParents Gary Siders Jr. and Elizabeth Siders, and the children’s grandparents Gary Siders Sr. and Christina Siders were arrested and charged with 17 counts of child endangerment.
n” “nThe rescue of the minors, whose ages ranged from 1 to 18 years old, occurred following an investigation into neglect and abuse at a house in Hamden, a rural area southeast of Columbus (Ohio).
n” “nSome of the minors did not develop speech and could not even say their own names. Several of the little ones had to be hospitalized and remain hospitalized in serious condition, according to reports from the authorities.
