After more than two weeks admitted, young mother injured in a robbery in Los Alcarrizos dies

Santo Domingo.- Estrella Samira González, 28 years old, lost her life this Tuesday after being hospitalized for several days after being injured in the abdomen during an alleged robbery that occurred on November 16 in the Guachupita sector, Los Alcarrizos municipality. The young mother, who left two children, including a 12-year-old teenager, suffered damage to her liver and lungs, injuries that ultimately took her life. Also injured in the same incident was Joan Acosta Martínez, who received two gunshot wounds in both legs and is currently in the process of recovery.

According to preliminary versions, four young people on board two motorcycles carried out a robbery in the area and, upon leaving, fired several times, leaving these two victims in the midst of chaos. Family members are calling for the intervention of the authorities to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.
