New York– American Airlines flight 386 faced a mishap this Monday when two of the plane’s tires blew out upon landing at Chicago’s O’Hare airport, but no one was injured, according to the ABC network.
The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, departed from New York’s LaGuardia Airport and arrived at 14:00 local time (19:00 GMT) in Chicago, where fire trucks and the police were waiting for it.

“American Airlines flight 386 experienced a tire issue after landing without incident in Chicago. Following protocol, emergency services responded to the scene as a precaution and passengers were safely bussed to the terminal,” the airline reported, according to ABC.
The aircraft was removed for inspection while the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will investigate the incident.
