Ángel Lockward reports the theft of his vehicle during a hearing in Ciudad Nueva
Santo Domingo.– The lawyer and political leader Ángel Lockward denounced this Friday that his vehicle was stolen while he was participating in a hearing at the Palacio de Justicia de Ciudad Nueva, in the National District.
Lockward reported that upon concluding the hearing, he left the court and was surprised not to find his car, a Mercedes Benz, where he had parked it. The fact caused him greater astonishment when he realized that he still had the keys in his hand when he noticed the disappearance of the vehicle.

The incident has sparked comments regarding security in the vicinity of the Courthouse, a space that daily concentrates lawyers, judges, prosecutors, and citizens seeking judicial services.
