Santiago. – The Asociación Cibao was recognized with the third place in the ranking of Best Companies to Work for in the Northern Region 2025, prepared by Mercado magazine, consolidating its position as one of the financial institutions most committed to the well-being of its human talent.
The study, which evaluates aspects such as organizational climate, inclusion policies, training, and employee benefits, highlighted the institution’s comprehensive approach to the development of its employees, through the implementation of well-being policies for all levels.
Reny Espaillat, Senior Vice President of Human Talent, highlighted that these policies range from school bonuses and days off for the birth of children, to health programs, cultural and sports activities, and breastfeeding rooms in its main buildings in Santiago and Santo Domingo, which reinforces its commitment to work-life balance and gender equality.

In addition to the third place overall, the Cibao Association was recognized in several specific categories: 2nd place in Trained Personnel, 4th place in Most Training Hours, with 34,295 hours; 7th place in Highest Participation of Women in the Payroll with 55.91%, 8th place in Gender Balance in the Payroll and 9th place in Largest Employers of Women, with 558 collaborators.
This recognition adds to a track record of excellence in human management. In previous years, Cibao has maintained satisfaction indexes above 90% and has implemented practices such as telecommuting, special permits for family care, and emotional and professional development programs.
During the awards ceremony, held in Santiago, the role of Cibao companies as drivers of the country’s economic and social development was highlighted. “Human capital is the main asset of our organizations,” said Alberto Labadía, publisher of Mercado Media Network, emphasizing the importance of fostering ethical, inclusive, and innovative work cultures.
With this new recognition, the Cibao Association reaffirms its leadership not only in the financial sector, but also as a model of human management in the Dominican Republic.
