Paris, France.- The credit portfolio for the tourism sector of Banco de Reservas is not only increasing, but also diversifying by financing projects ranging from a cruise port to theme parks.
With this vision and a portfolio that already exceeds RD$60 billion, Banreservas is present at IFTM Top RESA 2026, in search of new investments for the sector.
This was reported by Deyanira Pappaterra, Vice President of Tourism Business, to De Ultimo Minuto, who also detailed that the entity arrives at Top Resa 2026, ready to finance everything from large hotel projects
“Highly diversified, we have financed cruise ports, hotels, theme parks and we are also very focused on health tourism, meaning that we have expanded the traditional focus, being more daring and obviously with great results”
He also reported that they have projects on the agenda that will triple the current credit portfolio for the sector, thus ensuring the growth of the portfolio, penetration, and positioning of Banreservas in the tourism sector for the coming years.
The Banreservas delegation is led by Ysidro García, Senior Executive Vice President of Business, who represents the institution’s Executive President, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera. Kenneth Martí and Yamel Pimentel are also accompanying him.
During the fair, the bank’s executives will develop an agenda aimed at presenting the opportunities the country offers for new investments and the financial support that Banreservas makes available for projects linked to the expansion and diversification of the tourism industry.
The executive president of Banreservas, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, stated that the institution’s presence at Top Resa reaffirms its commitment to supporting the growth of a fundamental activity for the Dominican economy and continuing to promote the country as an attractive destination for international capital.

Banreservas will be part of the Dominican representation at IFTM Top Resa 2026, together with the country’s Ministry of Tourism, hotel companies, airlines, tour operators, and other actors related to national tourism activity.
The fair takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and constitutes one of the main professional stages for the tourism industry in France, bringing together representatives from destinations, hotel groups, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, and investors.
