Paris .- The bodies of five newborns or fetuses have been found in the home of a couple in the French city of Orange (southeast), reported France 3 television and the station ICI Provence-Alpes this Tuesday.
The discovery was made after the woman gave birth over the weekend to a healthy baby following a pregnancy that, according to French media, had gone undetected.

While she remained in the hospital, her husband searched the family home and found the first body, after which he immediately alerted the authorities.
Investigators subsequently located the remains of four other babies inside boxes, according to sources close to the case cited by Franceinfo.
The investigations must determine the exact nature of the remains, as well as the circumstances and the date of the deaths.
The police have opened an investigation and the initial forensic examinations, including an autopsy, are scheduled for this Wednesday.
The woman, who has two other children aged 8 and 12 with her husband, remains hospitalized and has not been placed under police custody for the time being.
The investigation has been assigned to the Sub-directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Specialized Delinquency.
