In that sense, congresswoman Leyvi Bautista highlighted the growth of female leadership inspired by Carolina’s example within national politics, and affirmed that every day more women bravely and committedly assume the mission of serving their communities and contributing to the country’s development.“Female labor participation rose from 43% to 56%. Thirteen points in twenty-three years. Female unemployment fell from 27% to 12%. Women are today 67 percent of university graduates in this country, that is, we are gaining ground, but there is still much to build and my commitment is to work so that women have more and better opportunities”, said Carolina.

For this reason, every day more women feel identified with Carolina’s leadership,” said Bautista.
