Jarabacoa.- A citizen was involved in a physical altercation with agents from the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (DIGESETT) on Wednesday night, in the vicinity of a Chinese store in the municipality of Jarabacoa.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred when officers were conducting a check on the driver for an alleged traffic law violation and were preparing to impound the motorcycle he was riding.
At that moment, the citizen allegedly reacted aggressively, leading to a struggle that subsequently ended in an exchange of blows with members of the institution.
The situation generated moments of tension in the area, where dozens of people gathered to observe what happened.

So far, the authorities have not reported whether anyone was injured, nor have they offered details regarding the measures taken following the incident.
