Congressman Ramón Raposo urges authorities to work hand in hand with community leaders and neighborhood councils
Santo Domingo. – The deputy Ramón Raposo urged the authorities of the central Government and the city councils to work hand in hand with community leadership and neighborhood councils.
The legislator made the call, within the framework of the celebration of a thanksgiving mass, held by the Municipal Union of Neighborhood Councils (UMJUVE), in the América Latina parish of the Sabana Perdida sector of the Santo Domingo Norte municipality, on the occasion of the celebration this March 31st of the National Day of Neighborhood Councils.
Ramón Raposo highlighted that the neighborhood associations deeply understand the realities of each community, from infrastructure, paving, and public lighting issues, to needs related to citizen security, health, and education of families.
