Daniela Ondina Graciano de Las Galeras Educational Center recognizes outstanding women on International Women’s Day

Samaná.-The Daniela Ondina Graciano Educational Center, located in the community of Las Galeras, in the province of Samaná, held an activity on the occasion of International Women’s Day, under the slogan “Women catalysts of change”, with the aim of recognizing the transformative role of women in education and society. During the event, several female trainers and community leaders who have significantly contributed to the educational and social development of the community were highlighted. Among those honored are Daniela Ondina Graciano, Priscila Bello, Saily Balbuena, Araselis Chala, Tania Águeda and Ana Reyes, current mayor of the Municipal District of Las Galeras, who was recognized for her leadership and commitment to the development of her community. The activity brought together members of the educational community, students, and local authorities, who highlighted the importance of continuing to promote spaces of recognition for the contribution of women in the construction of a more just, inclusive society with greater opportunities.
