The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Monday, March 16, 2026, as follows: Financial entities presented an average buying rate of RD$60.06 and a selling rate of RD$62.38. These values reflect a recovery in the value of the local currency compared to the previous day, with an appreciation of 0.43% in buying and 0.31% in selling. For their part, remittance and exchange agents operated with slightly different rates, setting the purchase at RD$60.70 and the sale at RD$62.22. In this sector, the local currency also showed a daily strengthening of 1.52% in the purchase rate compared to the values recorded on March 12.

In the last month, the buying rate in banks has gone from RD$61.26 to RD$60.06, which represents an appreciation of 1.99%.
