The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Thursday, January 22, 2026, as follows:
Financial entities set the selling rate of the dollar at RD$63.89, while the buying rate was set at RD$61.94.
These figures represent a recovery for the Dominican peso compared to the previous day, with a daily appreciation of 0.07% in sales and 0.09% in purchases.
Remittance and Exchange Agents reported slightly lower levels in the sale, standing at RD$63.40, with a purchase rate of RD$62.26.
In this sector, the daily appreciation compared to January 19th was 0.13% for both buying and selling.
