Before an audience of more than 3,000 attendees, the international premiere of the film “The Rejected: Submarine Operation”, directed by Yasser Michelén, was presented.

The screenings will take place at its main headquarters, the AMC Empire 25 cinema (234 W 42nd Street) and at the Dominican Cultural Center, which will also host a series of free workshops open to the general public. The week of activities will close on Tuesday, October 28 with the screening of Carlota la más Barrial, a story that follows Carlota, a charismatic and strong-willed woman who becomes the voice of her community in Villa Hermosa when facing a dangerous gang.
