Economist and political leader Jhon Anderson highlighted President Luis Abinader’s firm commitment to the development of the province of Samaná, prior to the official visit that the president will make this Tuesday.-

During his speech, Anderson positively assessed the head of state’s management, emphasizing that, historically, no president had allocated so many resources and investments to this tourist demarcation in the northeast of the country.

According to the official agenda, President Abinader will arrive in the province at 11:00 a.m., where he will lead the inauguration of the new entrance to the municipality of Santa Bárbara de Samaná, a key infrastructure project to improve connectivity and strengthen the tourism development of the area.

The president will be accompanied by the Minister of Public Works, engineer Eduardo Estrella, as well as by provincial and municipal authorities.

The inauguration of this work is part of a set of initiatives promoted by the central government, aimed at boosting the local economy, strengthening tourism, and improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of Samaná.
