Constanza. The search for Emperatriz, a Dominican adopted in Spain who for years tried to locate her biological family, had a happy ending after she managed to find her mother, Albanelia Sánchez Caraballo, and establish contact with her relatives in the Dominican Republic.
Upon hearing the news, Albanelia expressed her deep emotion and gratitude to all the people who collaborated to make the reunion possible.
“I feel very good, very grateful to everyone who is helping me and has helped me. May God give life and health to all of you,” said the mother when asked about her feelings upon learning that her daughter had managed to find her.
Albanelia also confessed that she has a great desire to see Emperatriz in person after more than 33 years of separation.
“I really want to see her,” she expressed excitedly, assuring that she feels “the happiest” for having reconnected with her daughter.
