Santiago. The Cibao Stadium began receiving thousands of fans of urban artist Arcángel from early hours this Saturday, who arrived from different parts of the country to attend the “La Maravilla World Tour” concert, a performance with which the artist celebrates two decades of his career in urban music.
As the afternoon progressed, the atmosphere around the stadium was marked by long lines, photographs, chants, and great anticipation for the show, considered by fans to be one of the most important musical events of the year in Santiago.
The attendees expressed that they are looking forward to a journey through the artist’s greatest hits, from the songs that marked the beginning of his career to his most recent productions.
Masiel García, a resident of the National District, assured that she hopes to enjoy both the classics and the artist’s new hits. “I like the older songs better, from the ‘La Maravilla’ era, but I also love the current ones, like En Vivo and José.
I like them all. I came from Santo Domingo to experience this concert,” he expressed. For his part, Ronny Jiménez stated that expectations are high due to the quality of the show and the celebration of the singer’s 20-year career. “We expect the best. There are many emotions for this concert and for celebrating Arcángel’s trajectory.
“He has been an impeccable artist and we want everything to turn out perfect,” he stated. With the Cibao Stadium becoming increasingly full, everything was prepared to receive thousands of people on a night that promises to combine a high-level production with a repertoire loaded with the most iconic songs of “La Maravilla,” in a celebration that brings together fans of several generations of the urban genre.
