The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Monday, December 22, 2025, as follows: In financial entities, the buying rate of the euro was RD$72.25, while the selling rate reached RD$76.59. These figures represent a slight adjustment compared to the previous day, when the buying rate was RD$72.41 and the selling rate was RD$76.83, which translates into an interday appreciation of 0.22% and 0.31% respectively. For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported slightly different exchange rate levels for the same date. The purchase was located at RD$72.81 and the sale at RD$75.08.
When comparing these data with the records from a year ago, a loss of value of the Dominican peso against the euro similar to that of banking institutions is evident.
