The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Thursday, July 2, as follows:

At bank counters and other financial institutions, the euro purchase rate stood at RD$65.98, while the selling rate reached RD$70.29.

These values reflect a daily appreciation of the peso of 0.15% in the purchase and 0.07% in the sale compared to the previous day.

For their part, exchange agents reported a purchase rate of RD$67.26 and a selling rate of RD$69.36

As in the banking sector, a daily appreciation (0.17% in the purchase and 0.30% in the sale) and a notable improvement compared to the beginning of the year were observed.

At the close of the first half of 2026, the euro maintains a downward trajectory in the Dominican market, favoring those who need to buy the European currency compared to the prices in effect at the end of last year.
