The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Tuesday, December 16, 2025, as follows:
For Remittance and Exchange Agents, the euro was quoted at RD$72.79 in the buying rate and RD$77.16 in the selling rate.
In the very short term, the euro showed a slight appreciation against the data from the previous day, registering an increase of 0.03% in the buying rate and 0.04% in the selling rate.
However, the trend is negative over the monthly period: the currency depreciated 0.39% in purchase and 0.58% in sale compared to a month ago.
In Financial Entities, the euro buying rate was RD$73.54 and the selling rate was RD$75.38.
Unlike Remittance Agents, Financial Institutions registered a slight depreciation of the euro compared to December 12, with a decrease of 0.16% in buying and 0.20% in selling.
Compared to a month ago, the buying rate depreciated by 0.52%, although the selling rate only did so marginally by 0.07%
