The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Tuesday, March 24, as follows:

In financial institutions, the buying rate was RD$67.24 and the selling rate was RD$72.23

These values reflect a slight depreciation of the Dominican peso of -0.17% in the purchase compared to the day of March 20th

However, when observing the long-term behavior, the national currency shows a significant strengthening: Since the end of 2025: The peso has appreciated by 7.78% against the European currency. Compared to a month ago: An appreciation of 5.54% is recorded in the purchase rate.

For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported a buying rate of RD$68.68 and a selling rate of RD$71.57

In this sector, the daily depreciation of the peso was -0.72% compared to the previous day.

Despite this daily movement, the accumulated appreciation compared to the end of 2025 in these establishments reaches 6.59%.
