Fire affects Playa Bachata hotel in Puerto Plata; no injuries reported

Puerto Plata.– A fire was reported this Saturday at the facilities of the Playa Bachata hotel, located in the municipal district of Maimón, Puerto Plata province, which prompted the rapid intervention of Fire Department units to control the situation.
According to preliminary reports, the incident left no one injured, while emergency services worked to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other areas of the complex.
So far, the authorities have not determined what caused the fire. It is expected that, once the corresponding work is concluded, they will offer a report with details on the causes of the incident and the damage caused.
