Governor of Azua oversees progress of infrastructure works in Las Yayas and Villa Palmarejo

Azua. – The governor of the province of Azua, Licda. María Minerva Navarro, carried out an extensive supervisory tour of the municipalities of Las Yayas and Villa Palmarejo, as part of the follow-up to the infrastructure projects being executed by the Dominican Government in these communities, aimed at boosting local development and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants. During the day, the representative of the Executive Branch directly inspected the state of the works in progress, verifying the level of progress, the quality of the work, and compliance with the deadlines established for their completion. In that context, she held meetings with engineers, contractors, and local authorities, whom she urged to expedite the administrative and technical processes necessary to ensure the timely completion of each project. Governor María Minerva Navarro highlighted that these interventions are part of the public investment policy promoted by the central Government, with emphasis on strengthening road, community and social infrastructure, prioritizing the most urgent needs of the communities of the province of Azua.

He also emphasized that constant monitoring of the works allows for the timely detection of any delays, correction of failures, and ensures that the State’s resources are used efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with established regulations. “We are committed to closely monitoring every construction project in the province, to ensure that they are carried out as planned and truly respond to the demands of our communities,” said the official during the tour. Navarro reiterated that the Provincial Government maintains a policy of permanent support for the projects being developed in Azua, in coordination with state institutions and municipal authorities, with the aim of accelerating progress and promoting collective well-being.
