San Cristóbal. – The governor of the province of Azua, María Minerva Navarro, supported the launch of the program “Siembra Progreso 2026”, an initiative of the Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA) aimed at linking agricultural production with sustainable tourism.
The activity took place in La Chivería de Yaguate, San Cristóbal province, and was attended by the national director of FEDA, Hecmilio Galván, along with local and provincial authorities.
The program aims to implement in the 31 provinces of the country, create 30 agrotourism routes and train more than 7,500 producers, with the purpose of generating new income opportunities, strengthening the local economy and preserving the cultural and natural heritage of the nation.
