Santo Domingo. – Franco-Dominican artist Lena Dardelet teamed up with Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Seba Otero to release “Hacerte Ve”, a song that mixes contemporary afrobeat with lyrics in French and Spanish, creating a fresh, rhythmic, and flirtatious proposal.
The song portrays the game of glances and words between two attracted people, wrapped in a sound production that connects the Caribbean with Africa, under a global and modern identity.
Recorded between Santo Domingo and San Juan, the piece featured the musical production and mixing of Elliot Justo, as well as mastering by Diego Raposo. The result is a magnetic single, where the voices of Lena and Seba intertwine naturally over an enveloping rhythmic base.
The music video, filmed in Callejón de la Loma, Cabarete, reflects the free spirit of the song. With a seventies aesthetic and an organic visual narrative, it presents a story of young love framed by the rural and coastal nature of the Dominican Republic.
