Head-on collision of trucks paralyzes traffic on the Guanuma bridge

Yamasá. – This Friday morning, a serious traffic accident was recorded on the Guanuma bridge, where two trucks collided head-on, causing the total closure of the road that connects the municipalities of Yamasá and La Victoria. The strong impact left both vehicles across the bridge, completely blocking the passage and generating significant congestion in the area, affecting dozens of drivers.

So far, the causes of the accident have not been determined by the authorities, nor has the identity of the drivers involved been confirmed.

Similarly, it is unknown whether the event left any injured people or fatalities, while concern grows among the residents of the area. Units from the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (DIGESETT) arrived at the scene, who worked on traffic regulation and the investigation of the incident to clarify what happened.
