Hundreds of fans arrived at Santo Domingo Park, on the Malecon of the capital, to enjoy the giant screen broadcast of the game between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela of the World Baseball Classic, an activity organized by the Mayor’s Office of the National District. Despite the rains recorded during the afternoon and part of the night, baseball fans defied the bad weather and gathered at the venue to be part of this sporting event that brings together fans from both countries: Dominican Republic and Venezuela. From early hours, Dominicans and Venezuelans gathered at the park located at the intersection of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln avenues, where a special space has been prepared for the public to enjoy the expected match. In the atmosphere, the excitement and euphoria of the attendees can be felt, who, among flags, caps, shouts, music, and applause, came to enjoy the match to support their teams in one of the most anticipated duels of the tournament.
