IDOPPRIL guides attendees at Expo Vega 2026 on occupational risk prevention

La Vega.– The Dominican Institute for the Prevention and Protection of Occupational Risks (IDOPPRIL) is participating in Expo Vega 2026 with an information booth, where it offers guidance to workers, employers, and visitors regarding the benefits of Occupational Risk Insurance (SRL), as well as the importance of preventing workplace accidents and occupational diseases.

The official opening of the fair was led by the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, together with national and provincial authorities, representatives of the business sector, and various public and private institutions that participate in this platform for the economic and social development of the region.

During the inaugural event, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of La Vega, Odil Morilla, highlighted the entity’s commitment to strengthening the business sector and promoting the economic growth of the province and the region.

For his part, the executive director of IDOPPRIL, Dr. Agustín Burgos, highlighted that the institution’s participation in Expo Vega constitutes an opportunity to get closer to workers and employers, provide guidance on the benefits of the SRL, and continue promoting a culture of prevention in workplaces.

Burgos invited attendees to visit the IDOPPRIL booth, where they can receive information about the benefits offered by the Occupational Risk Insurance, learn about the processes to access the institution’s services, and participate in educational activities focused on the prevention of work-related accidents and illnesses.

The fair, dedicated to the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kelvin Cruz, will remain open to the public from July 30 to August 2.
