Indonesia.- Indonesian search teams resumed this Wednesday the operation to locate the three Spaniards missing after the sinking of a tourist boat last Friday in the waters of the east of the country, after recovering the mortal remains of another Spanish woman on Monday.
“We hope that, during this sixth day, we can develop several scenarios in this search process and that it bears fruit today. We have deployed all the teams to the maximum of their capacity,” declared to EFE Asfan Sulhasan, from the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) and one of the mission coordinators.
“We are doing everything possible to find the three missing people,” remarked Asfan, who this morning was in charge of giving the latest orders to the rescue teams that departed from the port of Labuan Bajo, on the eastern island of Flores, and from where part of the deployment is heading.
The families of the missing went to the port today to thank the rescuers one by one for their work, which includes BASARNAS teams, police, coastguards, members of the Navy and the Army, and a dozen volunteer professional divers.

Family Ties Among the Missing
The tourist boat KM Putri Sakinah sank in the waters of Padar Island – about 3 hours of sailing from Labuan Bajo – around 20:30 local time on Friday (13:30 GMT), after which a search with boats was activated.
On the other hand, of the 11 passengers, seven were rescued (two Spaniards, four crew members and a guide – these Indonesians -) and the search teams recovered the lifeless body of a Spanish minor on Monday.
One of the mission’s priorities is to locate the wreck, in case the missing people were trapped inside.
The three Spaniards who are still missing are Fernando Martín, former footballer and coach of the Valencia CF women’s B team; and two minors: a son of Martín and a son of Andrea Ortuño, one of the survivors of the shipwreck and mother of both the other rescued minor and the deceased victim found two days ago.

The family decided to move the lifeless remains of the minor to the tourist island of Bali, with better infrastructure than the small Labuan Bajo, temporarily accompanied by her mother before returning to Flores to closely follow the search operation.
