Santo Domingo.– Dominican fitness influencer and content creator Paymi Marte reported the alleged theft of US$7,900 while staying at a hotel in the capital, an incident that is already being investigated by the Central Directorate of Investigations (Dicrim).
According to the version offered by the content creator through her social media, the money disappeared from the room where she was staying a few days after arriving in the country to undergo a surgical procedure.
Marte explained that, after noticing the disappearance of the cash, he notified the establishment’s administration of what had happened. However, he stated that the response received did not meet his expectations, so he decided to file a formal complaint with the National Police so that an investigation could be initiated.
