Santo Domingo.– The Justice Jet Set Movement reported that the hearing for the judicial process against Antonio Espaillat López and Maribel Espaillat de Bera has been scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at 9:00 in the morning.
According to the organization, the hearing will be held in person in room 301 of the Fourth Chamber of the Criminal Court of the Court of First Instance of the National District.
The movement explained that the scheduling of the hearing responds to the formal request submitted by the victims’ families and the plaintiffs linked to the organization, through a motion filed on July 23, 2026.
In that document, the victims’ representatives requested the definitive designation of the chamber that would hear the proceedings, as well as the urgent scheduling of the trial hearing.
