Santiago Rodríguez.- The president of Social Justice (JS), Julio César Valentín, stated this Saturday that one of the organization’s main tasks in the current stage of consolidation is to expand the participation of youth, while reiterating his commitment to implementing a broad political training program that contributes to the strengthening of leaders throughout the national territory.
n” “nDuring the exchanges held in Esperanza, Mao, Boca de Mao, Pueblo Nuevo, Sabaneta, and Villa Los Almácigos, Valentín explained that, following the legalization of Social Justice in the midst of the last electoral process, the organization is focused on building a solid and permanent political structure, supported by territorial organization and the training of its members.
n” “nnn” “n“We are in a phase of organizing and training. That is why we are carrying out these tours (…) We believe that politics is for serving, and to serve we must be organized. Even to claim our rights, we must be organized,” he expressed.

The political leader highlighted that the student and university movement constitutes one of the main spaces for the formation of new leaderships and the recruitment of young people committed to social transformations. In that sense, he recalled the growth achieved by Social Justice in different university campuses across the country.
n” “nnn” “n“We are a force with a presence at the UASD. We won the student elections in Santiago and La Vega, and we have numerous delegates in other provinces. We discover talent, organize them, and accompany them in the fight for citizens’ rights, especially those of the most vulnerable,” he pointed out.

n” “nThe day, in which the organization’s secretary general, Anyolino Germosén, also participated along with other leaders, began with a breakfast at the residence of businessman Leonardo Espinal, in the municipality of Esperanza, and continued with a meeting in Los Coquitos, Boca de Mao, held at the residence of the family of Juan Zoilo Acosta and María Fiordeliza Acosta.
n” “nSubsequently, they held meetings with banana producers and university professors in Mao, including a gathering at the residence of businessman Ramón Edilio Atizol.
n” “nLater on, Valentín had his traditional “Reflection Coffee” with leaders from Pueblo Nuevo de Mao and concluded the tour in the Santiago Rodríguez province, where meetings were held with leaders at the residences of Francisco Javier Luciano (El Chato), in Sabaneta, and Carmen García, in Villa Los Almácigos.
