Santo Domingo.– The urban artist Denisse Michelle Tejeda, better known as La Perversa, expressed her desire to dedicate her life to Christ after being moved by witnessing the baptism of artist Emanuel Herrera Batista, El Alfa, a moment that she claimed deeply impacted her.

During a live broadcast, the artist confessed that the images of the urban performer receiving baptism made her cry and highlighted the change she perceives in him.

“You all saw how beautiful El Alfa became. I started crying when I saw that. He got baptized. That is beautiful,” he commented.

The singer also explained that she would like to take that step at some point, although she understands that it is a decision that must be made with full conviction and not on impulse.

“Someday I am going to give my life to Christ. But one has to do that from the heart, when one is prepared. You cannot take God as a joke,” he stated.

Furthermore, the interpreter maintained that faith requires commitment and considered that it is not enough to make a momentary decision if that path is not maintained later.
