Santo Domingo.- Dominican designer Leticia Lasose, founder and creative director of Aurora Dresses, presented her “Sophia” collection within the framework of Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, taking her children’s and youth fashion proposal to international stages.
The collection was developed under the concept “Where Dreams Wear Couture” and brings together pieces that combine elements of fantasy, sophistication, and contemporary trends, with special attention to tailoring and details.
In accordance with the creative proposal, “Sophia” is inspired by concepts such as individuality, security, and confidence, with the intention of presenting fashion as a form of expression for girls and young women.

Sophia Gabriela, face of the collection
The collection had as its muse and official image Sophia Gabriela, daughter of fitness trainer Haidy Cruz, who was the second runner-up of Miss Dominican Republic 2024, representing Montecristi.
The young woman was part of the proposal’s presentation in Europe, thus joining stages related to fashion and beauty.
Through her social media, Sophia Gabriela expressed her excitement about the experience and shared the message: “I once dreamed it, and today it is a reality”. The young woman also highlighted the value of discipline and perseverance in achieving personal goals.

The Aurora Dresses proposal
Aurora Dresses is a Dominican brand dedicated to children’s and youth fashion design, mainly for special occasions. Its pieces are characterized by a proposal that combines elements of children’s fashion with couture-inspired details.
