The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) closed the competitive calendar of the year 2025 with the Round Robin standings clearly defined, after the day of December 31st was completed. At the top of the standings are the Águilas Cibaeñas, who have a perfect record of 4-0, leading with a percentage of .1000. In second position are the Tigres del Licey, with a record of 3-1 and a percentage of .750, one game behind first place. Below are the Leones del Escogido, with a record of 1-3 (.250), while the Gigantes del Cibao occupy the fourth position without victories, with a record of 0-4. The Round Robin now enters a pause for the end-of-year festivities and will resume on January 2, when the teams will resume action in the fight to advance to the Final Series of the 2024-2025 championship. With the tournament still in its early stages, the upcoming matchups are expected to be decisive in defining the qualifiers, in a postseason that continues to generate great expectation among Dominican baseball fans.
