Likewise, Poland referred to the controversies that arose during its participation and acknowledged that some Dominican compatriots were critical of its behavior inside the house. However, it assured that it understands the public’s perception and that it always remained true to itself. “Imagine, that’s how Dominicans are, but in truth yes, because they have their belief that one knows is not real, but imagine, we know where we live and in truth what we do is enjoy the moment,” expressed the former player, downplaying the criticism. Also known as “The Hit King”, he took the opportunity to share the experiences he misses most since leaving the reality show, highlighting daily life as one of the most memorable aspects of his stay at La Casa de Alofoke. “If you knew that I grew very fond of Michael, a different kind of fondness. You miss the morning shenanigans, waking up, Carlos with the megaphone… there are many things that one never experiences in the real world and that, with the passage of time, one comes to miss,” he confessed. Luis Polonia’s statements were offered in Miami, during the meeting that brought together several participants of the second season of the reality show, thus marking a special closing to an experience that, according to the former baseball player, left its mark both personally and professionally.
