Paris .- French President Emmanuel Macron announced this Monday that he has enacted the military programming law already approved by parliamentarians, which will allow for a new investment of 36 billion euros in the country’s Armed Forces until 2030.
The French president indicated that he signed the law after it was approved in the French Parliament and received the green light from the courts.

Macron also pointed out that this investment will serve his country to strengthen the cyber sector, drones, and innovation in Defense in general.

“It will allow us to act better in deep strikes and anti-missile defense, taking advantage of what has been learned from the changes in warfare. It is up to France to protect itself and consolidate the commitment of other nations,” added Macron, who commented that this law will also allow the new voluntary military service for young people between 18 and 25 years old to be reconfigured “in a few weeks.”
