La Vega.– A man was found lifeless this Monday morning on the side of the Duarte Highway, near the Soto community, La Vega province, an event that mobilized authorities to the scene.
So far, the victim has not been identified, while authorities are investigating the circumstances under which their death occurred.
According to preliminary information, a citizen who was walking in the area, several meters past the Soto entrance, observed the lifeless body and immediately notified the authorities.
Members of the Central Directorate of Investigation (Dicrim), representatives of the Public Ministry, and units of the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security Attention System arrived at the scene, where they began the corresponding procedures for the removal of the body and the collection of evidence.
