Jarabacoa, La Vega.– A man was injured this Wednesday night after being involved in a traffic accident that occurred on the Buena Vista straight, near the Cunda sector, in the municipality of Jarabacoa.
According to preliminary information, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while a heavy downpour was occurring in the area, which caused it to crash into the road’s guardrail. A white jeep was involved in the accident.
Units from the Buena Vista Fire Department arrived at the scene, whose members provided pre-hospital assistance to the driver and subsequently transported him to a health center, where he is receiving the corresponding medical attention.

The injured person was identified as Erinson Antonio Hernández, 33 years old, a resident of Santiago. According to the preliminary diagnosis, he has a possible fracture in his right lower limb.
