New York.- The American fast-food chain McDonald’s had a net profit of 8.563 billion dollars in 2025, 4% more than in 2024, as announced by the company this Wednesday. The fast food giant also increased its revenue, reaching $26.885 billion in 2025, 4% more than the previous year. In the fourth quarter of last year, which is what Wall Street investors focus on the most, the Chicago-based company earned a net profit of $2.164 billion, 7% more than in the same period of the previous year. The revenue obtained at the end of 2025 increased by 10% compared to last year after reaching $7.009 billion.

Increase in Global Revenue in 2025

Sales during this time grew by 5.7% globally and by 6.8% in the United States alone. Over the year as a whole, they increased by 3.1% and 2.1%, respectively. “McDonald’s leadership in value is paying off,” said President and CEO Chris Kempczinski, in a statement released after the close of Wall Street. “By listening to customers and taking action, we have improved traffic and strengthened our value and affordability scores,” he added.
