n” “nThe victim’s mother, Antonia Plasencia Fabián, explained that the body remained in the custody of the authorities for several days and that, when it was finally handed over to them, the family had to bury him immediately at the Cristo Redentor cemetery, without the opportunity to say goodbye to him.
n” “n“We couldn’t hold a wake for him. We had to bury him because he had already been gone for several days. We couldn’t even see him one last time,” the woman lamented.
n” “nPlasencia stated that his son maintained a relationship of trust with the young people identified for the crime, who frequented his home and received food and other care from him. According to his account, that closeness was allegedly taken advantage of to commit the robbery that ended in his death.
