Santo Domingo.– The National Association of Private Clinics (ANDECLIP) reported that it will suspend, for an indefinite period, the provision of medical services to affiliates of the Health Risk Administrators (ARS) Primera and Futuro, a measure that will take effect starting next Tuesday.
The organization explained that the decision was approved by its board of directors as a consequence of disagreements with both insurers, although it did not specify which aspects are keeping the parties at odds.
ANDECLIP indicated that the suspension will remain in effect until an agreement is reached that allows for the restoration of relations between the clinics and the ARS involved. In the meantime, Primera and Futuro affiliates will not be able to receive care at the health centers that are part of the association under the coverage of those insurers.

The entity indicated that it will remain open to dialogue with the goal of finding a resolution to the conflict and normalizing the provision of services for the benefit of patients.
