The agreement was signed by the general director of Proindustria, Rafael Cruz Rodríguez, and the president of the CESDN, Carlos Julián Pérez, who highlighted the importance of the alliance to promote local economic development and expand opportunities for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as for industrial ventures in the demarcation.

For his part, Carlos Julián Pérez pointed out that the signing represents much more than an institutional agreement, considering that it opens up new opportunities for entrepreneurs, merchants, industrialists and young people in the municipality interested in developing in a more competitive and modern environment. Among the main points covered in the agreement are the implementation of business strengthening programs, the promotion of business formalization, the conduct of specialized workshops and training, as well as technical assistance aimed at increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the industrial sector.
