Monte Plata. – The Regional Education Directorate 17 held an important meeting with directors of educational districts and representatives of the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP), with the aim of addressing key issues for the strengthening of the educational system in the province.
During the meeting, fundamental aspects related to the results of the National Tests were discussed, highlighting the importance of implementing strategies that contribute to improving the academic performance of students. Likewise, the processes of teacher Performance Evaluation were discussed, aimed at guaranteeing educational quality and the continuous professional development of teaching staff.
The meeting also addressed the issue of school infrastructure, with the participation of José Vladimir Pimentel Custodio, Director of School Infrastructure, who offered guidance on the necessary improvements in educational centers.
As part of the agenda, the official presentation of the new ADP representative, Primitiva Medina, liaison of the union in Regional Education 17, who replaces Sixto Gabín, was held. In that sense, the regional director expressed his gratitude for the dedication, commitment and excellent work carried out during his management, reaffirming the commitment to joint work between the educational authorities and the teaching union for the strengthening of the educational system.
The activity was led by Buenaventura Enrique de la Cruz, Regional Director of Education 17, along with other educational authorities, district directors, and representatives of the ADP, who reaffirmed their willingness to continue working together to drive significant improvements in the province’s education.
With these types of meetings, Regional Education 17 reaffirms its commitment to quality, transparency, and the integral development of the educational system in Monte Plata.
