Santo Domingo.– The Chamber of Commerce and Production of San Cristóbal was elected to hold the Second Vice Presidency of the Dominican Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Production (FEDOCÁMARAS) for the 2026-2028 period, during the Ordinary General Assembly of the entity, in which Lucile Houellemont was also elected as president.
n” “nThe election represents recognition of the work carried out by the San Cristóbal institution in favor of strengthening businesses, promoting trade, and the economic development of the province.
n” “nAfter assuming the presidency of FEDOCÁMARAS, Houellemont reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen strategic relations between chambers of commerce and the various sectors of society, while calling for unity to face the challenges of the new term.

On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of San Cristóbal, Ramón Montás highlighted that the new position will allow the entity to continue participating actively in the definition of strategies aimed at strengthening the Dominican chamber system and defending the interests of the productive sector.

The new Board of Directors of FEDOCÁMARAS will also be composed of the chambers of commerce of Puerto Plata (first vice-presidency), La Romana (third vice-presidency), Santo Domingo (fourth vice-presidency), Montecristi (treasury), La Altagracia (vice-treasury), Santiago (secretariat), and La Vega (vice-secretariat), along with representatives from various provinces who will hold positions as members and alternates during the 2026-2028 period.
