Second person involved in the shooting of content creator Liguita’s son surrenders in SPM

San Pedro de Macorís.– The second young man identified by the authorities as an alleged participant in the shooting attack against the son of content creator Antony Peguero, known as Liguita Teteo, turned himself in this Saturday, leaving both suspects at the disposal of the justice system.

The young man’s surrender took place following the call made by communicator Ramón Tolentino, who publicly urged those involved to present themselves to the authorities to answer for the incident.

The suspect arrived accompanied by human rights representatives, who handed him over to the competent authorities to be investigated for his alleged participation in the attack that occurred in San Pedro de Macorís.

With this surrender, there are now two alleged suspects in the custody of the authorities in connection with the case, while the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the National Police continue their investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the corresponding responsibilities.

So far, the authorities have not revealed the identity of the young man who surrendered, nor have they reported the measures they will request against him.

The case gained notoriety after Liguita Teteo’s son was wounded by gunfire, a situation that led the content creator to publicly request blood donors to assist his son during his recovery.
