Santo Domingo, R.D. – Suplitur held a new edition of Suplitop, its traditional annual awards event, created to recognize the performance, loyalty, and sales results of the allied agencies that make up its network of Supliagents.
Suplitop has established itself as a meeting and celebration space where Suplitur reaffirms its commitment to work in partnership with travel agencies, recognizing not only the figures achieved, but also the effort, perseverance, and trust built throughout the year.
In her speech, Michelle Rojas, general director of Suplitur, highlighted the importance of the role that travel agents have for the sector: “I have always said that travel agents are, without a doubt, the silent heroes of this sector. In some way, we are the ones who translate dreams, who calm anxieties, who find solutions where others see problems”. During the evening, in addition to the presentation of awards, the company announced some of the agencies that will be part of the second Supliagentes Convention, which will be held aboard a cruise ship through Alaska, an experience designed to enjoy, discover different destinations around the world, and reward the efforts of allied agencies. As a novelty of this edition, Suplitur presented a new award category: Local Corporate Sales, created to reward agencies that have demonstrated an outstanding ability to develop and manage corporate groups within the local market, with high standards of excellence, determination and attention to detail. Standing out in the Top 3 of this category for their highest sales volume in the local market are the agencies: Calai Tours, Irisol Travel and Sifra Comercial. This new line reflects the constant evolution of travel agencies and their growing leadership within the Dominican Republic’s tourism market, as well as the expansion of their services towards segments of greater strategic value.
With initiatives like Suplitop, Suplitur reaffirms its role as a trusted wholesaler, betting on solid relationships, shared growth, and the permanent recognition of those who make the sector’s achievements possible.
