Raas Solar, a Dominican company and certified Tesla Energy partner since 2020, is expanding its portfolio with the Tesla solar roof system, committing to energy resilience and sustainable architectural design in the country.
Santo Domingo.- RAAS Solar, a Dominican company specializing in solar energy solutions and a certified Tesla Energy partner in the country, presented today the official launch of Tesla Solar Roof in the Dominican Republic, during an event held at its Sustainable Corporate office, located in Santo Domingo.
Tesla Solar Roof is a roofing system that integrates glass tiles with photovoltaic cells, designed to generate solar energy without altering the traditional aesthetics of a home. With this launch, RAAS Solar expands the offering it has been developing in the country since 2020, when it became the first certified Tesla Energy partner to install the Powerwall storage system in Dominican territory.
“This launch is not an isolated product; it is the natural continuation of work we began more than five years ago, bringing Tesla Energy technology to the Dominican market. The company highlighted that every Solar Roof project undergoes a specific technical evaluation that considers shadows, orientation, multiple roof levels, and the specific weather conditions of the Caribbean, before being confirmed with the client, and that the installation, warranty, and technical support are handled directly by RAAS Solar in the country.
The system joins the portfolio that RAAS Solar already offers in the Dominican Republic, which includes conventional solar panels and the Tesla Powerwall storage system, and can qualify for the tax incentives contemplated in Law 57-07 on Incentives for the Development of Renewable Energy Sources, as well as the Net Metering program.
